I am either getting the Fatboy Jr or Sr here soon and my door to my spare bedroom is 29.5' and the dimentions on the Liberty website says the Sr is 30.5' including the handle the Jr is 25.5" so no problem there. My question is since I am picking the thing up and delivering it myself I cant take the handle off and get it in there so you that have onewhat is the demintions of your doors that you moved it through? can it somehow fit in the door?

It just makes sense to get the Sr over the Jr for $300 more.

thanks in advance

I was just looking at the specs and the owners manual and you may be ok but you would still need to check on it. I think the 30.5" depth that they give is with the 3 spokes on the center handle and taking them off would probably give you the inch or so that you need. Again, i may be wrong so you still need to check.
You may be able to get the folks where you are buying it to check that.

I can measure mine for you. I have the Jr.

The SR was amost double what I paid for my Jr last year. How much are they quoting you for each?

Pay the extra for them to move it in for you. Mine was a bear at 700lbs empty. The Sr weighs 200lbs more...

the depth on the Sr is 30.5" and the Jr is 25.5" that is with the handles

In philidelpha they are selling the Jr for $895 and the Sr. for $1195 for the base one.

Found out there are two different stores up there and having a bidding war. helps us out

please measure yours for me and measure your door jam for me also

Thanks and hope all is well with the family.

I was wrong, the Sr is a tad bigger than the Jr. Mine is 25.5" deep with the handles, my bedroom door jam is 29.5 so I could squeeze it through there.

I rented a 4000lb pallet jack to move mine with, loaded it onto that right off my truck bed. Made it much easier.

Drew... If you really want the larger one, don't let the door stand in your way. Just pop the facings off and take the door down. They aren't hard to put back up. It's easier if you have a nail gun and if you don't, I'm sure you could borrow one from somebody. Heck, I've got one I'll loan you if you need it.

+1 You can knock out that door frame pretty easily and put it back on when you are through. Give you about 3"'s. Just give the wife some cash and tell her she needs some new shoes. When she gets back, the paint should be just drying. I had my house built with 3.0 doors to get around in a wheelchair and when the gurney came to take me to my final resting place. Came in handy when I moved mine in.

I have a Fatboy and it came thru my door with the handles off. It was a little tight but it did fit. My door is just a standard door. To move it we just got some wood dowel rods and rolled it where we wanted to. It was really a lot easier than I thought it would be. Me and one other guy put mine in the house.

You're going to love how much room the Fatboy has.

I have some LED push lights velcroed to certain points in mine for lighting. I only wish I had gotten the door rack (optional).
Them LED's are the ticket. I have a light but with LED, I could put several in there. Thanks 4Runner.
Dhollis, I'll help (unless you start smashing through walls). I'm in Florence and met you over at MudDawg's.

another ????

My house has a conventional foundation and is an older house so my question is the Jr. weighs 705lbs and the Sr. weighs 880lbs empty so should I need any more support under the house or not?

No, the actual lbs. per square inch spreads the load. On a concrete foundation, I just shoot nails in the corners. Don't put it on carpet, that little bit of "give" can let them rock it slowly and finally rock it loose. Use some good bolts and bolt that bad boy down.
