If it has NO issues ... I would suspect it is a pretty Fair deal ..

Be sure you look at the crown of the muzzle. Some people never take the bolt out to clean the pistol from the breech end and the muzzle can be damaged by the cleaning rod. If the crown is worn it won't shoot well.

I concur with XD. Any of you N. MS boys seen any prices on those Ruger pistols (not sure if rifles are in it) they are going to have a big sale at Gary's. (Since Mike won't get off that single six). He can carry that Mark II fishing with him, wouldn't ya think.

I would think it would be a pretty easy job for a competent smith to re-crown one if needed....and just cause the crown may "look" bad it may still shoot well....I've seen it more than once on a pistol...I'm more anal about rifle crowns....That's my 2 cents

we aint shooting the pistol for Olympic competition on here...least I don't think so

I shot my Mark II many thousands of times and all I ever did was run a bore snake through....

It never missed a beat....Best 22 I ever SOLD...damit :wallbash:

Send 'em on. I got an outdoor wedding to be in in N.O. Friday (heard it was 115 heat index when I was working down in range of their radio stations). If I survive wearing a tux in that I'll check it out. PM them to me, these vultures will pick the meat off roadkill bones.

If it has no issues, I would buy it. I had one several years back and sold it. Wished I had kept it after I let it go. Found one in a pawn shop a couple of years ago and it now lives in my gun safe. This one ain't going anywhere, ever.

Wish I had not!

Years back I had a Mark II with 6&7/8" barrel with 4X scope-was a shownuff tack driver! Somebody ought to kick me- I sold it cause it just didn't carry easily!Whatif,Whatif, shoulda, shoulda, shoulda! The good side is I replaced it with a MarkII SS 5&1/2"barrel! Haven't scoped it but it carries and shoots great!! If ruger would just make the 10/22 that tough! The moral of the story is [BUY THAT MARK II] and atempt to shoot the barrel off of it!
