Unless the rifle was issued to the French Foreign Legion, then they shot it till the barrel melted,used the bayonet till it broke off,the broke the stock beating people over the head with it. There have be some serious BAs in the Foreign Legion,but it's never been made up of more than 25% French citizens, could be why. :lol4:

The way the French Army bled in WW1 was amazing. Gen. Pershing refused to allow American troops to be under the leadership of French or British direct command. We cannot deny the French valor in WW1. I think they lost their nerve after they lost a whole generation of their young men in 1914-1918.
