We are still doing the low carb thing but the kids have to eat. So, I made my not so famous french toast this morning. Ingredients: fresh eggs (store bought just ain’t as good) Cinnamon Vanilla Salted butter Cayenne Pepper* Mix everything (I just put it in until it looks right), but the butter, in the bowl. Dip the toast and put it on the griddle, that was just greased with the butter. *I once accidentally added cayenne pepper, in place of cinnamon, and rather than throw it out I cracked a couple of more eggs and added a good bit of cinnamon. Everyone just went on and on about it. So, the Cayenne Pepper became my special ingredient. Not all “as seen on tv” stuff is junk. These things are awesome for making French toast. A pizza cutter is great for cutting up French toast and pancakes for the knuckleheads.
