Thats pretty much the standard size for a double clip hybrid holster. Same size as Crossbreed , Theis, and all the others.

Yep not out of the ordinary. The more the weight is spread out, the less you notice it on a heavier firearm.

Ok, if y'all say so. ;) Don't think I'd like it tho, since I tend to sit occasionally. :)

Might be normal, but I've always thought it a bit much, too. Of course, I'm the guy who prefers to use the Mexican carry with my 1911: no holster, tuck it in a 3:00! ;)

There’s a reason I basically gave up on IWB.

Ya' know, ever since this foolishness about concealed carry started, we've been subjected to a multitude of holster designs that are uncomfortable, restrict access, or are otherwise a pita. There's only 2 designs that are worth a damn. The old cowboy rigs, and shoulder/chest carry. But neither is widely accepted these days, unless you're out in the woods or desert far from civilization.

that's just one of those skinny model type dudes. Put it on a regular sized good'ol boy and it would look right. would fit from 2:24 to about 3:17 on me.

Yeah I disagree. I like my Theis for my revolver and its the same size as the Alien Gear. But thats whats great about all the different holsters there is something for everyone. The other one I want and like is this one from RGrizzle

Or this If I want to tuck

    Or even this one

I have a Milt Sparks similar to that first one and love it.

Tuckable holsters have all been overrated in my experience.

My tuckable Theis does great. Wore my k-frame snub 38 to the wake unknown to everyone there. Tuckable holsters have there place , well for me they do.

I had a cloaktuck 2.0 and used it quite often, for several years, to carry my Glock 22 or 27. It’s a slight ordeal to get in and out of requiring you to don the holster and then put the weapon on but it was very comfortable to wear. I let it go with my Glock 27 but I may still get one of the updated versions, one day.

Maybe you just don't have enough real estate. On me, it would only reach from about 1400 to 1600 hours.
