I'm having a difficult time loading the moon clips for my S&W 686 Pro Plus because I have a severe medical problem with my hands. My question is do I have to use the clips or can I just load the cylinder just like you would load any other revolver?

Tk custom.com. He's got a moon clip loader and a demooner. Well worth the money. It's the only way to load my moon clips for my super. I can't do it by hand.

Xd357, thanks for the info on the loader. It looks like a good one, anyway, I ordered one so I'll know in about a week whether it will do the job for me or not. Thanks again.

You'll love it. Did you get both?

No. The loader has a system to remove the cases and I have been using a pencil to remove them and that works quit well.

Moon clips are an optional use item for the S&W Pro Plus revolver according to a S&W rep that I e-mailed. Use'm or don't use'm. OK! That answered my question.
