Where would you plant one? We don't have any ideal spot for a garden. All of our land is sloping down hill and shaded almost completely so it makes planting a garden difficult. For survival I know you will have already canned and put a lot of food from the garden but what I want to know is if we are in a every man for himself type survival situation where would you plant a garden? You don't want it where its easily seen by anyone that happens by cause ya don't want your means of survival stolen.

Unless its super sloped...U can fill it in to take some slope out...I've been filling in my back yard for 20 years

I have a 30 x 40 in my back yard...this summer its mainly cucumbers and tomatoes/...

I like fall better when I plant turnips, mustards, and collards

I have a little 8 horse Troy-bilt to till it with...I put tons of leaves and grass in it

Biggest problem I have now is my neighbors trees shade it too much...

Get several of you together...maybe someone has a more flat and sunny spot...

working together is the only way to work in a survival situation.

Solo artists might be Cool on TV...they die in a real situation....team up with neighbors and friends in the area...besides gardening is a lot of work and takes some know how...U'd be amazed what you can grow in your yard...

I've grown peppers and tomatoes in my flower beds in front yard before...Small Greenhouses can be built...

I've grown potatoes in water barrels before...U can do it...
