no but it is hard to find a match these days. :(

Grab your pistol, however many mags you have, safety equipment and sign up for the next steel challenge match. the people running it and shooting it will be more than welcome to help out a new shooter. with out you the sport will die. I shot my first match in my early 30's.

I was about 30 when I started into Practical Pistol matches, which include a lot of running and jumping and such to add a stress factor to the course. No reason you can't start competing in any type match that appeals to you.

Is it hard or to late to get into comp if your already 21
I'm in my 30's, and I still haven't started. Well, I shot Boy Scout BB gun comps when I was kid, but didn't we all. I'll get around to it when everything around the homestead gives me a break. I think I'll start with pistol matches to keep it simple.
