Well as I wait for my gun to come in, I just placed an order for some reloading components for it. Just ordered 100 nosler brass and 100 Sierra 117gr BTSPs. Now to pick up some 4831 from Mobile Shooting Center and I will be set on ammo.

Just make sure you try and do some sort of barrel break in procedure when you first start shooting it. Also, If you start having trouble getting pass throughs with those Sierra's, try some 115gr partitions. I can't them to group the best, but what they do to a deer certainly makes up for it.

I am going to load up several to break it in and then start trying to find its sweet spot. I shoot Sierra BTSP in my 308 and my 270 and I have never had any issues with them. So logically I am going to try them with this. I would like to try the berger hunting bullets also.

My old speer manual shows a 120gr btsp using 50gr of 4831 as a max at 2980fps. I am going to start around that point. I will decrease the powder and break the barrel in and then start stepping it up to see what it likes.
