Just moved here at the end of last year. Joined Magnolia yesterday and now I would like to try F Class. I enjoy all forms of competition shooting and shooting at long range. Have attended long range shooting classes and recorded my data out to 700 yards.
,

Would like to shoot either of the heavy barreled .308's. Have Harris bipods..What else will I need?

I shoot a long gun left handed because I am right eye dominant. Have two sons..So I built a right handed for them to shoot with me. Off the bench or bi-pod one works as good as the other.

I will try to attend the match at the end of the month. Yall be easy on the new guy..

I hear ya on the eye dominance thing.....I'm right handed left eye dominant....

I just try to with right eye...it aint easy...sometimes I'll catch myself trying to use the left...

They treat the newbies well at Bogue....They chained me down in the rifle pit 5 or 6 hours first time I went this summer...after I was good and dehydrated..they let me out....then let me shoot a few rounds when the match was over... :bsflag:

I got even and bought the match directors rifle :lol4:

J/K Come shoot...but be sure to sign up early for the match cause X-Ring has been gathering a big crowd....

Glad to see I'm not the only lefty around... anyway, all you would need for f-class is your rifle, water, shooting mat, ammo, hearing protection, and a rear bag if you want it. Your Harris bipod will be fine, or you can shoot with a front rest if you want to shoot in the open class(which tends to be a tougher crowd). Also, you may want to bring a chair and a spotting scope to help score another person shooting on the same line position as you. You should head out to Bogue Chitto and give it a try!
