Took it to the range this morning, being a 1911 fan I never ever had much luck shooting the glocks, however with the new tru-glo sights it was pretty good, once I learn the trigger pull I think I may enjoy it. R

The GLOCK trigger seems to be one of the biggest hang ups for people. It's not great but it is consistent. You also have options. Connectors are cheap and easy to change if you'd like to lighten the pull a little. There are also ways to reduce the overtravel after reset if that's an issue for you. The barrel to grip angle is also an issue for 1911 guys. Give the GLOCK a chance. You'll find that it performs consistently and reliably every time. I love to hear of 1911 shooters who are being drawn to the dark side.

I have already had 3.5 trigger and extended slide plus tru-glo sights added by Mr. McNalley.

If you haven't ordered the LWD barrel yet send Muddawg95yj on here a pm, he is a distributor for Lone Wolf and has good pricing. I get all of my LWD parts from him now.

Oh and the Lone Wolf barrels rock. All of mine have been just as reliable as the factory barrel even with my own reloads and a suppressor on the end no problems at all. The big benefit is tighter groups due to Glock's sloppy factory chamber vs. the Lone Wolf match grade chamber (Lone Wolf can ream it out to factory chamber dimensions if you want as well).

Keep shooting the Glock and I promise you will fall in love, everyone smack talks Glocks at first until they get some good range time in and then their opinions change. I'm an armorer as well, depending on what your plans are for the guns there are a ton of options for the trigger out there. I have fiddled with every trigger combination possible and can point you in the right direction if you decide to further change things. Oh and I'm a Glock Armorer as well.

I like my 22 RTF, it has a LWD barrel and Heinie slant pro sights. The only thing I found wrong with the barrel was the chamber was a little tight, a little pollishing and now it functions great. It does shoot a little high like most Glocks I have shot.
