I'm going to take my new Glock 23 with trijicon sights and dynamic carbon fiber coating into the gun show today and see if I can trade it or sell it and pick up a XD 40. iam just wondering what is a good price I can ask for it? I'm guessing around $500-$550 but y'all would know more than me. Thanks for the info.

Just about any modern working semiautomatic handgun that is not abused or worn out is worth $450 to $550 minimum.

Night sights adds more (assuming they are not old).

Sounds like you are definitely in the right ballpark on price.

Well I sold it for what I paid for it, $450. I also sold my Nikon Coyote special and Armalite mount for $275, I only had about $175 in it so I got what I wanted. I picked up a used XD .40 Service from Mike's Speed Shop and he gave me a decent price si i was happy. I came home with about 3 times as much as I went with and came home with a new pistol and another scope. It was a good day for me at the gun show.

I like it because I already have one haha. I have the tactical 5" barrel and now my wife has the service 4" barrel. All the parts I have upgraded on mine can used on hers if they break or wear out so that's nice. And I know how disassemble one completely.
