Luckily, Glock didn't come out with it. It was a customization firm called "Full Conceal" that came out with it. They just chose to build it out of a Glock. They also make one out of a Sig P320, called the M1 model.
i saw a patent drawing while searching of a similar non folding design that holds the fullsize mag in much the same way, only you had to draw and insert the mag.
my idea in this same vein was a grip "sleeve" for lack of a better word. very much like the sleeve to insert a 17rnd mag in a g26 that replicates the full grip og a g17. instead the full grip would be the mag. carry the cut down/short pistol loaded with 2-4 rnds in a rotary mag, eject that when empty and insert full 17 rnd grip, repeat as needed.
Reminds me of an old movie with Antonio Banderas. He was using two Ruger autos this way, but no stock. I thought it looked like a good way to shoot the forward hand with the rear one.
