I am thinking of getting a drop in replacement barrel for lead bullets in my Glock. Although I have used the stock barrel for years with lead and no problems, I feel I might obtain better accuracy with button rifled barrel. Has anyone used the EFK Fire Dragon barrel, Lone Wolf or Storm Lake barrels and can comment on problems?

Cliff Cargill did a test on the factory barrel and a after market barrell. With the glock being more accurate.

If your set on it I'd get one of these two.

I put a LW in my Glock 22 and shoots just fine and I'm not worried about it blowing up, it's worth the $99.00 if you ask me.

Was Cliff's test conducted with lead bullets? I know the Glock is very accurate with jacketed but I reload all my ammo. What about KKM barrels? Any info on those?

I've got a Lone Wolf on my G20SF. I've never had a problem but I've only shot jacketed bullets in it.

I have 3 LW - 9mm, 40S&W, and 45acp .... the 40S&W seems to have a real tight chamber and I have had some issues with some of my reloads ... the 9mm and 45acp no problems / all I shoot is cast ...

I have several LWD barrels and have had no problems with them. Only suggestion would be to test all reloads for sizing in the Lone Wolf because regular OEM barrels are not fully supported and the brass has the "guppy" especially the .40S&W, but if you shoot through the Lone Wolf barrel, they won't have the "guppy" in the future. When reloading, full length size to make sure they'll feed is best. JMO
