I really didn't intend to buy another handgun, but I went to a show this weekend then stopped by a gun shop on the way back. I had handled one of these pistols and the new stipple gripping was pretty neat. I asked to see one (model 22 in 40) and couldn't believe how good the grip felt in my hand. Couldn't put the da-n thing down, ( sound familiar) I'm not really a Glock fan like my son, however I think I might be with this pistol as soon as I get the sights changed over and trigger job done. I'll keep you posted, Walmart seems to have the best pricing on 40 100 rounds 30 dollars.

I picked up an RTF 22 when they first came out and put a set of slant pro's, a 3.5# disconect and LWD barrel in it, so far so good. I have seen them called Glock RTF2's and RTF's, is there a diffrence or is the RTF2 the proper name?

You can buy the Federal 50rnd boxes for 13.95 which is less than 30 for 100 and they are better than WWB. IMO. I have shot the 9,40,& 45 in the federals and they're good.
that's all I put through any of my handguns at the range now. Cheap, quality, feed extremely well...what's not to love? Oh yeah and the walmarket usually hase tons of them! So they're pretty easy to come by.

EASY.............................
Best book if you want is.
"The Complete Guide to Glocks"

This book is better than Armorers Course.

Oh yeah, Get you a LoneWolf Barrel if you want to shoot lead. Good quality and great price. they do offer compensated barrels as well.

the book is outstanding IMO. I learned way more from book than Glocks own Manual. There are a couple other books I don't have yet. One is "Living With Glocks" that LWD sells on their site. Gun Digest has a dedicated Glock book as well and it is avaliable at Book A Million or Barnes&Noble (whichever it is at CrossRoads Mall)
Ghost Connectors are the best if changing the connector. Glockwerks springs are good as well. Their is also a source for parts from a guy you probably know already. Mr McNalley from Florida (he does a lot of gun shows) nice guy to do business with.
Just some info that may be helpful.

According to the Glock annual it is RTF2. The first RTF design did not make it to production. Now they have another new one called gen. 4. It has bigger polymids on it. Feels better IMHO.
