Bought a pair of "5.11 Tactical Trainers" back when 5.11 had them for $25 on their website. Got them in a while back and been meaning to post in the deals thread. They are decent kicks and supposed to be water proof. I forget the brand of insole but these alone run $20+ on Amazon. They are sold out on 5.11's site but they still have a few sizes on Opticsplanet.com. These seem to be a good deal to me and shipping is free. Not bad for an extra pair of shoes for the outdoors stuff. I'll keep mines in the trunk for fishing but I can see how they'd be good for yard work, hiking, and I guess tactical ninja work and such.

Just got the Georgia Boots in. I'm pretty happy for $66. I'm taking the Justin Boots back as I just don't want suede boots. I have another pair of Justin Boots I paid $120 for and I can honestly say I think the Georgia Boots I paid $66 dollars for are the better boot. Just uglier and bulkier... But for hunting and fishing boots they are darn near perfect. If my size shows back up then I will be trying to get a second pair for down the road.

Went bumy Kroger on 55 and they hand some good deals on the clearance rack in the kitchenware. I bought most of it but they may be the same at another Kroger.

Nordic Ware Cast Aluminum Dutch Ovens for $10 and $20. Made in USA and appear to be good quality. I bought a bunch but there was one oval left. Regular price was $50+ for the $10 one.

Check the reviews...

They also had vaccum sealers for $20 and $35. I paid $80 for the same models last year. It's done good.

Academy in Flowood has a few good firearm deals.

H&R Handi Rifle with synthetic stock $198.

S&W M&P 9mm CORE for $459.

That's $200 off the M&P, $100 less otd than the same model online, and even cheaper than most regular M&P. To make the deal even sweeter there is currently a rebate from S&W or 3 free magazines. I bought the one they had NIB but the one in the counter looks just as clean.

They also had several other clearance deals that didn't look too bad.

Camelback Groove for $3.98 @ Academy Sports.

I got all of them from the Jackson store but may be some in Flowood or Hattiesburg.

It's a $20 water bottle with a filter built into the straw. They are worth the $4 even if you don't want to use the filter. It's just a tap water filter but I plan to keep one in car. This will cover my $4 after 2-3 trips to the water fountain. Supposed to be good 300 fills or 3 months. Check the reviews and what not....

Also.... That M&P CORE for $460 and 45/70 Handi Rifle for $198 was still at the Flowood store over the weekend. The M&P has a rebate for 3 mags and H&R has shut done so won't be no more New Handi Rifles after a while

Well mine didn't get shipped and probably won't. They sent an email saying it had been delayed.
Man I hope you get them. The price is back up to $60 each. At the sale price they were still cheaper than most similar sized plastic containers. If I had thought of it I maybe would've snagged two then hit then with some "tactical" looking paint and use them as lockers.

I will start off with one I purchased...

I screwed around and missed my size but the larger size fit fine because of the elastic. These are overdone with zippered and pockets but lightweight and comfortable enough. These are gonna be my fishing pants... Buy 2 if they have your size! I got some for myself and some for my dad as a FD gift.

They had the same light in tan for $5.99. And it's a not as good a deal as the $10 LED I posted but with the included batteries this should make for a good purchase to put up for a while as CR123 batts last quite a years or so. I had some that lastest almost 15 before I use them. Might make for a good cheap purchase for a back of the safe light or shtf bury box if you don't have one.

Dang! These suckers sold out quick! But I thought it was a good deal since they included 6 Duracell Batts. Sold out but maybe check out some of the other offerings.

Academy Sports on Countyline had Pflueger Purist spinning rod/reel combos for $35-$45 on clearance.

I don't know about the one in Flowood or elsewhere but they could certainty price match. Just get them to call and do a price check.

These normally cost $99 and are easily worth that price. Academy has them online priced at $90. The reel by itself would normally run $70-$80 and is supposed to be the next step up from the President line. Lighter and has carbon drag and if I'm not mistaken these can hold up to salt water use. The President is one of the best selling reels around and one of my personal favorites. These jokers are built right and get really smooth with some use. Clean then out and put some fresh grease on them and they run great!

IMHO these combos at that price is a smoking deal for somebody wanting to some decent fishing gear. Top it off with some free 6 or 8 pound line you can get put on @ Academy and it just sweetens the deal.

Plano Gun Guard All Weather 36" Tactical MIL Takedown Gun Case - $39.99 + Free Shipping

I just got a couple from Academy on County Line. I got a black and a tan. They had two tan cases left. Probably more in Flowood but shipping is free so the price is the same if you have it sent to the house.

It's a short version of the all weather case for $40. They market it as a "take down" case but I bought it thinking I'd use it with my rifle stock folded. As it turns out it fits with the stock collapsed leaving about 3/8 at the end. It also works with my fixed stock AK47 without the foam. It would not fit my factory stock 18" barrel 10/22.

I think the case internally is ~36" and using the foam insert makes it 32". I will likely just use rubber pads and cut some foam blocks to hold the rifles in place.
