I've seen this on a couple other forums and really like the idea. Basically, post up good deals that you have found while shopping on the web or in the "real world." No advertising stuff for sale - there's a For Sale forum for that. Just point your fellow gun owners to deals that may be of interest to them.

I've seen those sell for $200 more. If it's the one I'm thinking of, it also comes with a more traditional carrying case, almost a quilt like material.

...and the gray Ruger AR-556 is back in stock at the moment for $475 and $5 processing for Buyers Club members, so essentially $480 shipped to your FFL ($120 a month for 4 months with 4-pay):

I suspect the prices for Ruger (or S&W) aren't going to get much lower than this, I suspect they'll just suspend making them at some point if it gets much lower. Of course I could be wrong.

Sarco is offering free shipping (with some exclusions/qualifications) for orders over $40 from 4:30PM EST today (Thursday) until 9AM EST on Monday, April 17th.

Update.

I picked up my Bodyguard .380 yesterday. Haven't taken it to the range yet though.

Small, thin ... almost toy-looking, IMO. I think it will be a good back-up gun for me.

I'm not a fan of its 5-rd. flat-base mag though; 5 + 1 just doesn't do it for me, I'll stay with the 6-rd finger ext. one.

This has been one of the best gun deal Easter seasons that I can ever recall (usually Easter isn't a holiday for gun deals). Usually the sales come earlier in January, but for some reason a lot of stuff I wanted or needed are for sale or available now (all at the same time, naturally). On that note, the BM59s and their bayonets are available at Classic (not always my favorite vendor, but the only one that carries some things) right now again:

BM-59 .308 Caliber Mag Fed Semi-Auto Rifle w/ New Barrel on James River Receivers, by JRA

They also had Yugoslavian RPKs (M72B1) rebuilt by James River for $899, but fortunately those are gone now (it took about a day if that). And Sarco has the unique BM59 mags for sale in quantity (~$25 each in quantity 10, ~$30 each quantity 5-9) and with the free shipping for orders over $40 this weekend.

It wont be if its not listed. What caliber did you want? i may have to sell my 308 thats running a hog hunter barrel.

It has 11/111s but not the hog hunter. So guess not. Looking at 308. Intrigued by the rebate and layaway on BUds lol. Whatcha got

Its an older 110 i swapped a 308 hog hunter barrel onto. Barrel was supposedly a new take off.
I have not fired it since i finished it, only been a few days. had planned to bring it to that meet and greet but it did not make the cut.
