Good Deals Thread

I've seen this on a couple other forums and really like the idea. Basically, post up good deals that you have found while shopping on the web or in the "real world." No advertising stuff for sale - there's a For Sale forum for that. Just point your fellow gun owners to deals that may be of interest to them.

I'll start with an example:

Hate to hear that. I try to stop in and visit when I'm in downtown Jackson. Last time I was there he had crates of 91-30's. Lot of hex receiver ones to.
There goes another FFL dealer
Problem is, I still recall the $60.00 Mini14 mags, some of our locals were charging.
I'll say no more.

Tim Wolverton bought up Billy Taylor's stock and they worked together for a while at the gun shows. Tim has (I guess had soon) a pretty nice shop downtown. Last gun show I went to I think they had seperate tables. I've had good dealings with both of them.

I actually was checking out last week and picked Downrange as my FFL but decided against making the order. Hate to see them close.

No, BiIlly did work out of that store in the beginning do most of the smithing work that came in though. I think they also bought most of Billy's left over stock from when he was on Eldorado Road.
PSA: S&W M&P45 (180022) and M&P9 (180021) Shields w/thumb safety

He's still around, still selling just about every gun on his table as a one owner and been shot just a few times.. He's told me that on stuff i saw him buy less than 15 minutes beforehand.

Can't say that didn't happen, but Billy has always been 1st rate with me.

He has been fair with me once, years ago (before he lost his fll) , and tried to rip me off a couple times. I wont waste my time stopping at his table anymore.

That's a fun little gun to shoot. I love mine. If anyone local to the Coast is looking for one, Dad's Super Pawn on 49 in Gulfport has 2 on the rack at this same price, but I don't know whether or not they take the Glock mags or something else.
