Since I am a Louisiana Resident on a Mississippi (Hold on a minute making sure there is the correct number of "s" in there). There will be times in which I need to do business with a MS resident with FFL items. I live near the MS border and am wondering if there are any FFL dealers near the border that would be willing to facilitate transfers? I want to stay on the right side of the law and still be able to deal with anyone I need to.

Any help would be appreciated (I am also in the hunt for a willing LA FFL for the other way when I want to buy from a MS resident).

I have a several firearms for sale on LA forums and if this can be secured I would gladly list them here...

I work at ABC Pawn and Jewelry in Long Beach, MS. We've done this several times and will have no problem with anything you wish to do. Typical transfer fee is 25.00 + tax = 26.75 plus what ever shipping may be.
Just curious but you charge tax on the transfer fee? Don't think I have ever encountered that before.

You should post some of you items here in this thread.

The tax thing we've always done, never had a problem but once again I'm an employee not the owner.
I've been watching that thread, but yet to post. If I can figure out my phone I'll post all we've got.

Gold and Guns in Madison charges sales tax on transfers. I think that if you provide a service in Mississippi, its taxable.
I’m just saying I’ve never , ever been charged tax on a transfer. Can they do it? Sure they can . Do most charge tax, not from my experience.
