For those who prefer wood on a Henry X-Model, you can now get Walnut stock sets on all X model Henry rifles that is a direct replacement for the polymer furniture.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR X-MODEL CONVERSIONS:

Stock Set # H10-200 for H010/H018 Series models is now a direct replacement wood set for the synthetic furniture set on all X-Models: H012X, H012CX, H012MX, H009X, H010X and H018X.

Note that you will also need a forearm cap(listed under "Parts") to complete that conversion.

The screws from your X-Model forearm would then be re-used to secure it.

While I like more traditional wood/steel guns in general, that seems to defeat the point of the X models to me.

That is great news. I like the pistol grip style stock and the side gate they offer on the X, but not really a fan of the other tactical features. Just out of place on that gun to me. A trapper style carbine (16 or 16.5" barrel) with blued steel and wood furniture with a pistol grip style stock. That would be 👌
