what is the best magazine for a ruger 10/22?

I have the best luck with the butler creek steel lips. The Ruger mags are supposed to be very reliable, but I shoot a lot and they wear out too fast and cause problems for me.

Either one should be fine. Stay away from ramline.

The ramlines are garbage, factory are good... too expensive for me though. I do have a couple of eagles that have been ok, but i havent shot the gun a whole lot since i got them.. they are better built than the ramline though.

I never have tried the steel lips magazine. I tried a regular butler creek 25rd it sucked. I agree with neck shoot the mag made for it.

Never a problem with the steel lips. The hot lips(plastic) ones suck. If ruger made a 25 round mag, I would be using that.
