What are good offsetting colors? I got some hi-viz orange and yellow on my ruger 22/45. What would be a good color to offset it.
Black ain't really doing it but they are adjustable so I don't want to toss them.
Joe, those Hi-viz are kind of pricey but I think they're worth it if our going to keep that ruger, be the first you didn't sell for that extra 50 cents. Oh well, buy for a dollar, sell for 2.

I had the same problem (on a Ruger MK 2 handgun).

I bought the FireSights for a Ruger but they did not fit my model.

I read up on it at RimfireCentral and stopped by Fred's Dollar Store and bought some bright red nail polish.

Cleaned the sight with some solvent, let it dry and put 2 coats (drying between coats).

I'm tell you it makes a major difference.
