Any of you knife guys out there know of a good site for knife laws? Or perhaps maybe you could just tell me what you know.

What is the latest word on how big a knife you can conceal on your person in public? Any info about restrictions or allowances would be greatly appreciated. I am a little embarrassed that I don't already know this stuff. I recently had to retreat from a metal detector because I didn't know the law. Thanks!

Knife laws vary just like gun laws. It depends on what jurisdiction you are in. Therefore this is a hard question to answer. As far as actual laws I don't know any either and I make knives. I will say that 3" is the general rule. Some places allow 4". It depends on where you are at. Most LEOs you ask won't know either.

Been doing a lot of searching and it appears Mississippi knife laws are very, very few and very vague. Just the way judges like them so they can read them the way the want to. I haven't found any state law that specifies a length restriction. It seems a style restriction for concealed carry is the main point.
