Have had a bit of a family trip up to the Flippin, AR area planned for about two months and the weather could not have turned out better! It was in the 20's Saturday morning but warmed up quickly. Here are a few photo's as well as the biggest of the day caught by my girlfriend, a 5lb 11oz german brown. I can't wait to get back in about a month!

Always, if we wanted a wall hanger I'd have a model made It's a shame it was right after the spawn. That guy should have weighed 8-9 lbs pretty easily!

Yes it is, a few miles down river from the damn at Bull Shoals. It was a rental as well. We've stayed at most of the places on the river and that place (Stetsons) is our family favorite.

Were you using nymphs or just rod-n-reel (for catching the fish)? I go up to the river below Norfork sometimes for rod-n-reel with worms or corn. Most of the time, I go over to Cow Shoals on the little Red for fly fishing.

I haven't taught the girl how to fish with a fly line yet even though she really wants to learn time has been an issue. We were caught and used some Sculpin that make great bait for the larger trout. I've been along the upper White, some of the Buffalo, Little Red, and a little bit further south on the White for small mouth fishing.


As far as sports teams are concerned, only my Memphis Tiger basketball matters!
