Dan, we ran into a small roadblock with the local Sheriff. The only way we can afford a m-2 is in a post sample. The only way we can get a post sample is with a Leo sign off and our local sheriff has been cool with it but he is not willing to sign off on something as big as an m-2. Right now we are trying to find another law enforcement agency or possibly build our own. If we manufacture it then we don't have to have a love letter.

I am afraid not. Since the gun would be manufactured post 1986 then it must be owned by J&G sales. A Pre 86 dealer sample is still pretty high. Our best option is to find a Leo that will give us a letter saying that they want us to demo one for them or just build one from the ground up. On a positive note we will have some ammo when we do get one!

I got the dvd's today THANK YOU! I will take it to Jays tomorrow.

Captain, going the Trust route means a transferable M2, and as DockRocker mentioned, those are BIG $$$$$$. I estimate about $35K. A "posty" (post 1986) M2 might be $10K.

Another example....... Transferable M-16..... about $12K. Posty M-16..... about $1K.

Posties are the cheapest, but do require the LEO "love" letter...........

Hey, I will sell one of my M2s (still in the crates)........ :) YEAH, I wish.....

DockRocker, are you limited to an LEO letter from your city or county? What about going to another LEO in another city/county.....?

It does not have to be local Leo. We just have a relationship with them. If you know any departments very well please let us know. All they can do is say no.

Just tell them we need a letter on department letterhead asking for us to demo a m2- bar for them. It would be awesome if you could work that out!
