The bladetech is what I and alot of other people use . You can use it for steel and IPSC, USPSA . I like it cause its dropped down and away from your body . I used the XDM gear holster for a long time it sure was nice when I got the Bladetech .

The links you posted are the right model holsters. The Bladetech "DOH" or "Dropped and Offset" is legal for USPSA Production division and Steel Challenge and is probably the most popular holster in Production. The Comptac Belt Holster is very comparable although you don't see them as much, at least around here. I'd be willing to say it is more due to size of the company and advertising than anything actually to do with the products.

Just to throw out one more option, check out the Kytac Sooper Hooper. They are made in a one man shop in Oklahoma by David Elderton. There may be a wait for one, although for more common guns like an XDM he may have them in stock. I have one for a Glock and it is a very fast holster. Glock's team leader David Sevigny is sponsored by them and has used their stuff for a long time. The finer details may be a bit rougher than the Bladetech and Comptac, but we are talking about kydex (plastic) holsters here and it definitely doesn't affect performance.

It might be better if you could try before you buy, but I don't think you would go wrong with any of the three personally.
