Anybody got a Para Ordance LDA? I traded for a used one with issues. I'm getting light primer strikes. I removed the mainspring housing and grip safety. It ain't nothing like a 1911. I could sure use takedown schematics or at least an exploded view. Anybody?

Why is it that every time I read something about a Para or someone mentions a Para it's almost always something negative? Is it my imagination or are there some substantial quality control problems with these guns?

Wish I could answer that :thinking: . This is my first experience with a used Para. Materials & workmanship look excellent. Design??? I'm trying to find out now. You never know it's history or what the prior owner did to it. Unless I miss my guess the SA guns should perform as any other 1911. The DA sure has a lot of gadgets that I'm not crazy about. Most of that is safety interlocks. Maybe some Para fans that know more than I do will chime in.

I have 2. Older pistols. one is a Carry 9 and the other a CCO .45acp. Both are super shooters.
