Got the bow out.

Well it wasn't to hot out today when I got off work so I got the ole bow out. 1st time this year. Didn't do to bad but I've got lots of room for improvement.

Anybody else getting ready for bow season?

Bout 5 years ago I bought a PSE Nova from a guy that was on hard times and needed some money..
Got the bow, quiver, 6 goldtips (3 with pods), broadheads, golden eagle release.. $50..

I put a Whisker Buscuit and a Truglo site on it.. Sighted it in at Bass Pro and got 6 new gold tips..

Havent shot a bow since YHEC Nationals in 01 or 02.. Got it sighted in and could keep them in a 1" group at 22yds.. Not to shabby i dont guess..

I've been shooting for a few months now. I had to stop for a few weeks when I broke my thumb, but I'm back shooting now.

just bought my bow a few months ago. havent shot a lot b/c of the heat... prolly start shootin more now that its gettin cooler

I need to be shooting. I have to swap my sites over to my hunting sights be sure its sighted in then I'm good to go. When I will find time to do all this I have no clue. I shoot old skool as in I still shoot the first bow I ever got that is only 18 years old. Its still in excellent shape and shoots great so I haven't felt a need to go get a new one. Its an old PSE Edge my dad got me when I was 11. It not worth much but hey it will put meat in the freezer once I find time to change sights and sight it in.

got the maxxis tuned up at 20 backing up today if I get off work early enough, this things so damn fast I don't think 50 is out of the question

A lot of factors at 50yards come into play. I'm not saying not to. But I'm not comfortable that far.
