First with new Model 870 20 gauge. His daddy called it in to within 20 yards for him.
First turkey ever or first with that 870?
Second turkey...he shot one last year with his daddy's gun. He just got the 870, saved up money for it that he earned working at his daddy's grocery store. This is what kids should be doing instead of video games; working and hunting with dad and playing a little baseball!
That's very commendable him working and saving his own money.
Looks like a pretty nice Bird from the picture.
I love hunting turkey but I hate eating them so I usually give the meat away.
Here's a pic of him carrying it out giving some idea of how big it was...From his shoulders to his ankles .Couple more like that ha will be ready to call for his old Granjack to get one
no need he got you covered
I do believe you are the first person I have ever heard say that they don’t like wild turkey breast.
It's just not for me. I love to hunt them but I'd rather eat a pine board
To each his own.
That's right it's all in what a man likes. I know I've never had trouble giving any of it away so i know I'm in the minority.
I know people that love to fish, but don't eat fish. I'm not a big fan of turkey, unless it's deep fried.
I’m ready for next weekend.
Great to see the young'uns hunting. !!
I don’t care for store bought turkey at all, but I’d fight you for some wild turkey nuggets.
Congrats on your grandsons turkey btw.
That’s great, they done good!!!!
Good job by both of them!
