I can see right now I’m going to have to hit the “ignore” button on Twang Banger.
Lol, you know it’s going to cost you some money and time keeping a eye on southernreliading.

Really like the ideal of a pawn shop thread or sticky for pawn shop finds for us that aren’t close to them.

At one time I also made regular stops at the local pawn shops but now days their used guns are mostly over priced beaters.........The typical handguns found in the local pawn shops in my area are; SCCY, Bryco, Jimenez, Jennings, Raven, Röhm and Hi Points. The last gun buy that I made in a pawn shop was in 2010 and was a unfired LNIB 1956 Stevens 311 .410 SxS for $200.00
Not many deals at my pawn shops either. But as you see if you go to the right pawn shop there are deals to be had.

TB the only complaint I have with your thread here is......you just don't have time to update it as often as I would like.:D

Thank you for taking the time to post the ones you have time to post.

Stopped off at two West Palm Beach pawn shops this morning. There is a big difference in these two shops than those pictured in Gulfport. Where those in Gulfport have rifles adorning the walls and show cases filled with handguns, these two shops walls are adorned with well used and abused power tools and the showcases are filled with what looks to me to be Sara Coventry jewelry of the late 1950’s. In one shop I asked if they had any guns, the clerk replied yep in the safe, and went back to what ever he was doing. I left the shop never to return. The second shop was about the same as the first. I looked and left....I would assume that most of the Gulfport Pawn Shops listed are gun shops disguised as pawn shops.
More than likely just the difference in the two States.

Well disappointed in Wiggins gun and pawn, Friendly pawn, and Dads super pawn. Didn't see any deals on handguns to speak of. Will say Friendly had the best prices.

That poor 45 looks like it has been put through the wringer. Be a great project gun. Shorten barrel, round butt the grip, then cerakote it.

:groan: You forgot Bob off the hammer spur. :groan:
No with that one I would just shorten and round the hammer spur. After cutting the barrel I would install a Burris fast fire II mount and the Burris Fast Fire II for sights on it.

But seriously, you really think you could hurt that poor thing? Anything you did to it would be a improvement.
