Always a good choice!I agree that is nice for the price, even if it does not contain wood! Also every-time I see your Rush 2112 avatar all these songs start playing in my head, I had to pull the album up on youtube the other day. Always remember, the meek shall inherit the earth.
A Marlin 60 was my first "big boy" gun, around the same time. It was a special limited edition comemerating the Alamo. It had a gold colored trigger, and an metal Alamo engraving in the stock. I wish I could find another one, but the are incredibly rare. I did pick up a standard model last year. The seller didn't know much about it, but it appeared to be in good shape. When I got it home and went to update my records, I found it didn't have a serial number. It was made in 1968, before they were required to put serial numbers on them. It's a really solid little rifle, and you can tell it's far higher quality than the new ones.I have my first marlin 60, its has the little squirrely engraved in the stock, I think I got it in 1981, its in pristine condition, one of my more accurate pieces. I did recently work on a modem one for a friend, had to tear it all down because it was gummy, they are not built to the same standard they used to be, IMHO, I did not check for accuracy.
I don't really want anything specific. I already have a compact, SP-01, and a P-10C. I would like to have a 97, though. And there was this beautiful matte stainless 97 this weekend at the Jackson show, but it was a bit too pricey for me.What you want Steve! I ain't gonna melt if there is any!!! I can take an send pics!
Twang I am interested in that rolling block Remington they had a few posts up!!!
Yeah, I doubt most semi autos would even cycle the mini shells.I don't recall seeing 20 gauge mini shells (like the Aguila), just 12 gauge, not that I pay close attention to them. I have seen mention of the 12 gauge mini shells hanging up in many shotgun actions.
They put all their used handguns out on a couple big tables, for customers to fondle.
