That is 100% correct Twang!! However with some trap shooting friends on here I must say I'm not highbrow I simply think trap is boring. Just like they think skeet is boring!! One thing for sure though!! Skeet shooters can shoot trap, Trap shooters (for the most part) can't shoot skeet. Again same reason the make blue cars and green cars!!!

And I have looked at that gun. I would say more in the range of 6k

That looks like Cook's in D'Iberville.

They had a .45/70 T/C Encore pistol I'd like to have but it doesn't have any iron sights or a scope base with it. After I bought sights on Ebay (that's IF I could even find some), it would no longer be a bargain.

That's where he was heading, so that is probably a good bet.

I went and looked at it, was going to buy it, while I had it in my hand someone called and wanted it. About that time I looked and saw a really bad marred area on the cylinder, so I told her to let the guy on the phone have it.

I ain't sure he would have left without it cause of that! It was the way they did business with the phone caller. He was there to buy it and basically they sold it to the guy on the phone. I always though an lived by one in the hand is better than two in the bush!!! He ain't mad though!!!

They would have let me have it, but when I saw that really bad spot on the cylinder I told the girl not to hang up. They treated me right, I just saw it before the caller hung up.

That is funny. I was sitting in the parking lot and called Mesquite. He was interested in it for his grandson. I said, “you can have it” and he declined. I am sure it is a nice shooter, but it was just a little rough for my taste. It also had the wrong grip screw I think, it extended way out. But like I tell every lone, I never have hard feelings over a gun. If someone truly wants something I want, I will usually bow out. I have done it a few times on here. Sort of like my dating years, more interested in the chase! LOL
