I love my black powder with the conversion cyclinderI went by Cook's Gun Shop in Biloxi today. They're not technically a pawn shop, but they do sell used and consignment guns, so . . . .
If anyone wants to get into black powder revolvers, they have a like new-in-box 1858 Remington New Model Army, made in Italy by Pietta. It's the steel frame (not brass) so it will handle hotter loads. They have it priced at $130. If I didn't already have 2 BP revolvers, I'd have been all over it. PLUS, since it's black powder, there's no 4473, and you could probably talk them into shipping it to you if you're not local. After all, Cook's does a lot of Gunbroker business, so they're not new to shipping items.
