Okay, I'm not too knowledgeable on these, but Best Pawn over in Waveland has a Colt 1909 .45 revolver. Can't remember the exact price, but it was a bit under a grand. Looked to be in very nice shape, noticed that it is marked "r.a.c." on right side of frame. I really didn't pay it much mind until I looked on Gunbroker... yikes! Could be a deal for someone who knows these pistols.

R.A.C. is the military inspectors stamp. It should also have "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" on the barrel and should be .45 Colt. If in good condition that is a good price.

Thats a good price for a HD shotgun. Drop a 18" - 20" barrel on it, with a 1-2 mag extension.

Not exactly a pawn shop, but there is a booth at "Antiques and More" over in D'Iberville that is loaded up with stuff that could be of interest to folks here. A family is selling off stuff from a gun collector's estate. Thing that immediately caught my eye were about 10 nice SKS military stocks - several Chinese bakelites, a couple of hardwood Russians and a few standard Chinese wood stocks. They were asking $75 a piece. Not cheap, but not bad in today's market. Also had a bunch of bayonets with "internet" pricing, so probably no great bargains there, and a repo M1 paratrooper stock that, at $250 asking, also seemed a bit pricey (but at least you could see the stuff before you buy). They also had some random military slings, ak mags, and other odds and ends. Talked to some of family members who rent the booth. Nice folks. Said they would be putting in a lot more stuff.

I’m interested in this one. Anybody know if it is still there? I’ve never owned or shot one of these, but I read that they are Philippine guns. I’ve had a couple of RIAs and they were solid.
Don't know if it's still there or not. I've had two ATI 1911's (one purchased from Haneys, in fact). One was a GI model and one was a Commander sized model. Never had any trouble with either. I'm pretty sure @rigrat ended up with one of them.

Yep I got the Commander and it was a solid handgun. Can't remember what it left the stable for...sure it was something I thought I wanted more. I've owned the RIA's ,Tisas, Citadel, ATI and Springfield 1911's. Should have kept the Springer so @Ellis93 would not have been able to desecrate its natural beauty, LOL. Have the Citadel and the Tisas now 9mm and 45 acp respectfully and both have been solid performers so far. The ATI was solid for the time I had it.
