Read a thread on another forum called "gun fonding" and thought it would be fun to have it here. But I think fondling is more appropriate for us southerners... Haha

Do any of yall have a particular gun yall like to "fondle" while watching TV or just sitting around doing nothing? Either cleaning or just handling?

Mine would probably be my PPS, as its the most carried of any of mine. It gets cleaned a good bit and I just like having it close.

So what about yall? :D

Yeah Joe, after cleaning one the Lifetime Channel would be the History Channel but then I remember I paid for the flatscreen (thought it was mine but the old lady enlightened me). Wish I had Elvis's money, Cowboy Malony would be at my house regularly.

I have sat in the living room watching band of brothers with a Garand laying across my lap and a 1911 beside me.
Watched Enemy at the Gates with an 8mm Mauser beside me.
I did the same thing the other night watching The Pacific. had my Garand out cleaning it and shooting the Japs. I was a master marksman by the end of the show.

I will also clean my XDsc while watching the TV gettting all the lint from my shirt off.

WOW I thought I was the only one who did this. I can’t keep my hands of my Ruger SP101 .357 2 1/4. It just makes me feel good to have it with me all the time. Can’t keep me away from it! Give a hole new meaning to if you don’t stop playing with that you will go blind. :lol3:

This thread is funny . My favorite fondlin pistol is my Uberti 1852 Cattleman in .357 . I like to practice spinnin it over my ottoman ( is that how you spell that ) . My wife thinks it's ridiculus . . .I guess it kinda is especially when I quote lines from Tombstone while doin it. " Are we cross "

when I worked at Miskellys people always came in looking for Aldermen and I told one lady that she had to go to the county office to find them she was confused at first and finally laughed cause she has always called them that.
