Where is that place and is it still open? I went to McComb today and would have stopped to bust off a couple boxes of rounds.
The bullet hole is a great place. I have shot in their range a few times. The owners are awesome. If you take the south Brookhaven exit (hwy 84) and go east you will go several miles. You go several miles on highway 84 and then you will see Reeds metals on you left and the bullet hole will be on your right. Its a small standalone building.

What are you looking to rent?
Maybe some of the compact 9mm or 45 (Glock 30sf, Xd, etc). I have a larger older Sig and shot my friends Glock 27 recently and it was nice.
I've got a Glock 26, it's a great little pistol. 100% reliable, easily concealed, and more accurate than any other subcompact pistol I've shot. Plus you still have a decent maga capacity with such a small gun.

You guys are too cool. I am in the Jxn area, if anyone is around Sat after lunch I could meet you guys whereever. The last safety class at Byram I was out of town and missed but have asked SGF to notify me when the next class is coming up. So, you might be seeing me around soon enough haha.

Yeah I was surprised at how shootable the Glock 27 was, could imagine the 26 would be very nice. After shooting the 27, I became curious about the 30(sf) and/or the 26. I have always liked the looks of XDM and was waiting for the compact which was just released but am now leaning towards a Glock. Hence the reason I was looking to rent some guns. haha

ok guys i wanna play if its a day i could come down! i can bring:
beretta px4 storm .40
ruger super blackhawk .44 mag
sig hammereli trailside .22
Id really like to see that px4, thats one of the ones ive been considering.
Ive got the most hated pistol on the internet i can bring(s&w sigma .40) and a smith airweight 38. Ill bring along the keltec sub 2000 .40 just for grins. A warning though, it can lead to you wanting to buy one yourself. Id like to shoot a glock 27 as well, thats another near the top of my list. plus it uses the same mags as my keltec.
Add a m&p compact 40 to the list i can bring, just traded for one.

I would suggest the Glock 26 over the 30sf, 9mm is more than enough power plus you get higher mag capacity. The 30sf is a bit too "snappy" in my opinion, larger calibers and small guns don't work very well together. You get a lot more muzzle flip and will have more trouble keeping your gun on the target with follow up shots. My 11 year old brother can shoot the mess out of my Glock 26. Plus Glock mags and accessories are much cheaper than most any gun because of the mass amount of Glocks sold which is good if the zombie apocalypse hits and you need to scavenge parts/mags  . I will be back in Jackson after Christmas if you wanna shoot my 26. Get the glock, I GUARANTEE you won't regret it.
