I will be there and actually have a little $$$ put away so I expect to make at least one purchase...

Who else is going? Last show I went to was Hattiesburg a couple weeks ago and the prices were much better than I expected, I hope the same holds true for this weekend.

I have a couple things I might be bringing for sale/trade...LWRC M6A2, 5.7 pistol, or .308 FHSAK (unfired)...I 'need' to move one off but cannot decide which 'needs' to go.

I went but did not see a "gun ho table", did not know to look. I found some "fair" prices on some ammo and a "tazer" and picked up another cowboy six shooter. Uberti 44-40 7 1/2' bbl. I'll see if I can put a photo in.....
Well I don't see the photo so I guess it didn't work. I tried....

Deal of the day. Far west corner, there is a guy selling a pair of Swarovski EL 10x42 binos for $1200. These retail new for over $1800 and are the cat's meow! I got a pair or I would have haggled with him hard! I'd offer $900 and see what he says.

Just got back, didn't pick up any new 'serial numbers' but I did get some other business done...

Upgraded my Glock's trigger and bought some mags from the very nice old man and woman in the back...have done business with him before, he is GOOD PEOPLE.

Got some ammo from the dealer setup just in front of the Glock man, prices and selection were good...

Got some new cleaner/lubricant from the guy near the front center area...if you were there and did not watch the video and his demo...then you missed out...
This guy sprays this stuff on a light bulb and covers it well, while the bulb is on it is then submerged in a fish bowl that is powered by extension cord...and then sticks his hand in it!!!!

Got a G.O.O.D. Bag (Expeditionary Unit Backpack) and a 36" tactical rifle/pistol bag...new local guy (New Orleans) makes this stuff, he used to work for Condor and now is on his own. He took Condors stuff and made it BETTER and seems to be so. He gives out his personal contact info and stands behind his stuff 100%, full replacement if need be. Name of his business is "War Lord Tactics" Guy was SUPER NICE and was not pushy at all! I plan to get much more tactical gear from him in the future, good people, good stuff and local, I like that!

Yeah, I spent a few bucks and had a blast doing it!

I had every intention of talking to the "Gun Ho" folks and passed them several times but each time they were busy, which is a good thing! I over heard several folks talking about their new business both today and yesterday, I think they have a good thing in the works there. I am going to have to make a little drive over there and meet them in person. One final though on Gun Ho, the booth operators yesterday were MUCH better looking than today's operators. LOL! Congrats on a business that looks like it is about to really take off!

ARNY ARNY, I can't believe you wouldn't stop and say HI.... I think I did spot you (family busness shirt on). We were right there by the guy u bought ammo from. The Glock Parts guy is now local, he just moved back from Fla. I will be getting all my stuff from him now. Well just so u know, I was wearing the white Action Shooting Supply shirt w/Glock hat and BigSig was wearing the Orange MSGO shirt w/camo visor.
I saw a few decent deals around, but if you want fair no BS pricing from a dealer that sell alot or moves alot of inventory, buy from Mike's Speed Shop and yes he is a member here. He always has the best prices w/no haggling needed.

Question I've wanted to ask about gun shows and the waiting period.... let's assume a person had made enough gun purchases in the last couple of years that they know for sure (even though they don't know why) that they have a 5 day hold...but they always get approved.... Does this hold period apply at a gun show too?

I would call atf asap and find out why you have to wait 5 days, if you pass the background check i cant think of a reason why a mississippi resident would have to wait. Personally i would be real po'ed about that.

You might want to ask that in gun laws section for better results. My permit comes out when I buy and they don't even call. Not required by law if you have your permit. Another plus.
