Going to look at ARs!!! Now that the market is flooded the prices are supposed to be decent. We'll see. If I can't find one for a good price my future bro in law is gonna help me build one since I'm an AR newbie

Went today, everything was overpriced. CCI .22 Mini Mag ammo for 15 dollars per hundred. I just paid 5.69 for the same thing yesterday at Gander Mountain. Bought 1000. Everywhere I looked .45 ammo was going for $25 a box, can get it cheaper at Wal-Mart. Also saw another unfired Mosin-Nagant for $600. Guy said the going price was 900. Saw an SKS I thought about buying, 30 round mag, $360 but I didnt take much cash and the guy couldnt take CC. Did see a High Point 995TS with laser for $260, not a bad price. I have been thinking about putting a barrel mount on my AK/22 and mounting a laser, found on online for $4.95. Exact same one there ran between $14.99 and $24.99 depending on which booth you went to. I know people can ask what they want for their products, but they really need to come down.

Everything i saw yesterday was grossly overpriced... ive noticed prices are higher at this promoters shows, dont think ill waste my time and money going back to another. That plus how tiny this show was, not worth the admission price at all.
On the nagant subject, i saw a m44 a guy was carrying around ... asking $300, it looked horrible with its freshly lacquered stock. Up close it may have been better, but no way is it worth almost 2 times the average going rate for one.

Yeah I was disappointed. Saw a couple flattop m&ps like I was looking for but they were more than what I was looking to spend. Think I'm just gonna talk to the fiance's brother in law this afternoon about helping me build one. He's already got a m&p lower he said I can use so we'll see.

Got to where I quit going to the gun shows. Going to tell off on my age but back in the 80's you use to get some good deals even in the early 90's. Last few times I went it was a waiste of time, overpriced on everything I looked at. Use to buy reload supplies but now I can just about order it and pay the hazmat fee and come out the same. Sure hate that it went in that direction use to enjoy everytime one would come up.

Ive gotten some deals at the big shows over the last 6 months or so, after a few trips you learn the dealers to just ignore and also which ones have deals. Cant leave out the ammo guy who has the most rediculos prices on the planet is at every show now(no wonder he has the same ammo at every show) most of his stuff is 50% over average retail. The big shows however have started attracting a couple of other ammo guys who have some good prices.

I guess it's all in how you look at it...I almost always enjoy going...don't bother with who or what I don't want to...and find deals.

I found a used Glock 19 with night sights and 9 mags {factory/Korean} for 450.00 at this show, and the guy guy me a fair trade, so it came home with me.
