Do ya'll use gun broker? A friend has been buying off of there lately and has gotten several good deals even after shipping, ins., ffl transfer, etc. I registered today on the site. It said my account was classified as suspect and coulddn't be verified. They want me to send a copy of my driver's license and a current utility bill. Is that S.O.P. for them? Seems a little crazy to me. I looked all over the site for a phone number and couldn't find one. What's ya'll's opinion?

I've register and bid on some stuff but have only won one gun. They didn't ask me for any of that when I registered.

P.S. You can get some great deals on gunbroker. I have a friend who has a ffl and gets great deals for resale.

It is a good site to go to when you are thinking about buying or selling a gun. You can get some idea of value - value meaning what some are willing to pay for a particular gun.

I am registered on the site and have bid on a couple guns - without success. I have sold several accessories using the site.

I sold some BAR magazines a couple years back without issue. If you used vastly different billing and shipping addresses in your registration that could raise flags for them. My guess is whatever it is, it's due to an information discrepancy in the information you already provided. Go back and double check all of that and make sure everything lines up (E.g. if you provided a card number, your billing addy matches the addy your card bill comes to). Just a thought.
