I need help finding a quality gunsmith in south MS who could work on my 22lr for me. Its a marlin glenfield 73, probably twice as old as me. It misfires more than it shoots, with different makes of ammo, so its definitely the gun. When I eject the round I can see where the pin has hit the casing but not hard enough to ignite the primer, leading me to believe that the spring is weak and/or trash is inside the firing pin travel area. Its a good rifle and I don't really care to spend $$ on a new one if I can get this one worked on. Its very accurate and fun to shoot, so I really want to get it back up and running.
Any help ya'll?
