I haven't been on the air in a while. I had to do something in my truck and I took the radios out. I've been thinking lately that I need to put them back in and get up on 10m.

My BIL Jeremy K5WZA just got his ticket and is active on the JAN machines in the mornings.

10m has been opening up in the mornings & evenings Ham radio will be the only way we will have to stay in touch if the world goes to crap or gets much worse

It would be easy to set up a base station with a mobile rig, 12VDC battery and some solar panels from habor freight. You could even wire several batteries in parallel for added current if you wanted to run several radios.

10m is opening ,to west coast & south america. Yes, it dont take alot of gear to get up and runnng a mobil rig a battery or power supply , mobil antenna or a wire antenna and a antenna tuner would be nice to have.O yes a solar panel to charge the battery and your ready to talk.

Hi, Yes amateur radio aka ham radio, you can talk all over the world or 300 miles away .google it there is alot about it on the web will be very helpfull
