I hereby call this meeting to order. We are not here to judge one another, but rather to, through sharing our experiences with one another, hopefully strengthen our character and help ourselves overcome.... ourselves. I'll start:

Hi, my name is Slabs, and I'm a gunoholic. It's been 3 days since I bought my last... my last.... oh, <sobbing>, I admit it, I'm actually bidding on another new gun as we speak! I can't stop, I don't wanna stop, it's just that I NEED those guns, and they need me.... Okay, I'm over it. Anyhow, so I bought a new (to me) Glock 17 the other day, and thought that after my fix I'd be good for a while. But I fell again. I feel so cheap....

So, anyone else want to share? Anyone?

So you are the reason I can't find what I NEED on Gunbroker!

I've been a member of the gun a month club for a couple years now!

Wife asked me the other night why we had so many guns in the closet...she knows I have a BIG Gunsafe...

I just grinned and said...cause the safe's FULL baby!

I got this feeling I'm gonna be seeing a lot more women's shoes and dresses and other useless stuff coming home soon..

Oh well

Hmmm IM a serious gun nut. I train daily, read about them daily, and dream about them nightly. I shoot Action pistol, uspsa/ipsc, shot steel once, F class, and soon to shoot more steel, ICORE, and GSSF. I cant count how many guns I have bought and let go of. I currently only have about 30 something. After this week, I wont sell another.

only problem I have is funding for my project (buying a gun every week) It really doesn't matter what it is, I'll try any that would be a great deal and if I don't like then get rid of it for something to replace it. one always needs a few tradin guns. Think though next major purchase should be another safe. maybe I could get a bank vault since so many are closing their doors. :blol:

Don't feel bad....

I went to Van's a week or so ago just to look around, and wound up leaving with two Sig Sauer pistols and 4 boxes of ammo....It's a vicious cycle....But hey, we only live once, right? Might as well have some cool guns while we're here.

I have bought two more 45acp. One yesterday (sig 220 ) first sig i have ever owned or shot. i put about 100rds through it lastnight and really like it. and today a S&W 1911 pd w/crimson laser grips.... will try it out after work and suspect i will like it as well. It will be really sweet if the lasergrips will fit my colt 1911's

I think guns are the greatest addiction ever :cool2g:

I bought a P 220 a while back, but haven't even shot it yet. Glad to hear it's a shooter. I heard that a good bit before getting mine, but can't see it being a better shooter than my 1911. Could be wrong.

I have a RIA that has the CT grips, they're a lot of fun. Mine are sighted at around 7-10 yards, so I'm no more than 1" off out to 20 yards. I would NOT wish to be standing in the laserlight when the trigger was pulled.

I was really impressed with the P220 having never shot or even really handled one before. I did actually shoot the sig better than i had my colts on the day i tried it out. I plan to shoot a bit more this weekend with the sig and a couple of the colts so that will be a good indicator.

i suspect you will enjoy the sig when you get a chance to shoot it.

Good news, boys, I got outbid! I am no longer the potential new owner of a Wilson Combat CQB Compact. That, my good fellows, is an outstanding thing, since I'd begun to calculate how much of my current armamentarium would have to be sold off to pay for it!!

Yeah, well, you can get a Les Baer that's got bluing on it starting around $1,550.00. The USED one I was looking at ended up selling for over $1,900.00, and it was a compact. Momentary loss of sense there!

LOL, reminds me of my brother in law. A couple years back, I got word he'd quit drinking (never was a heavy drinker, but would have one when fishin' with the boys, etc...). He did well for a couple months, then sent me a text: "Sobriety is for quitters." Needless to say, that wagon kept rollin' after he fell off....
