I'd like to store some wheat. Does anyone know where to buy it in Mississippi by the 50 lb sack. Food grade of course.

Methos you think the corn you eat every day is from untreated seed? Regular field corn don't taste to bad "if" its picked just at the right time an I mean right time!
Vacuum sealers...folks they work good, get yourself one.
5gal bucket, mylar bags, o2 absorbers and some good whole wheat and your good for 25+ yrs... You can get hand crank grinders for around cheap.
Buy anything you can get that is dryed or frezzed

Clarification: I was talking about eating the kernals as ground cornmeal, not planting it then eating the fresh ears.

Field corn is good roasted on the grill too.
I remember reading in a book about people using a coffee grinder to grind wheat.
I don't think a coffee grinder would be fine enough..my wife has a special "grinding machine" just for grinding her wheat to make bread

High dollar instrument....very very high rpm...she wears muffs while running it
