One of my best friends nailed this one on his Heritage a few months back on HWY 305 between Independence and Cockrum. He was scraped up, but otherwise OK. The deer wasn't as lucky. When I went to get my buddies bike from the side of the road, I couldn't resist snapping this photo.

I couldn't bring myself to photo the bike. It was totalled. My buddy just got a Road King so he's back in the saddle.

He's very thankful. His son was riding with him and he's ok too.
