Fed Ex just delivered my Hatsun 95 springer. This is my first big boy pellet gun. As reveiws said, the scope is pretty lame. Can I get some advice on a reasonably price scope. I would like a variable power with a adjustable objective but am open to suggestions. Looking forward to your advice.

a utg one piece mount is worth the $20. for a scope I use a hawke fixed 4x32 mildot. I don't think the cheaper hawke scopes are still being made though. centerpoint scopes are ok but they are heavier than hawke with the same features.

did you get .177 or .22?

I just got a second hatsan a few months ago. my first is a striker1000 in .22, and the new one is exactly the same only gas piston instead of spring. their are a lot of good reasons to go gas, mostly longevity for me.

    have fun!

Sorry for the slow response. I got the 22cal. with the wood stock.

Hawke, check Pawns & Bow shops.
Hawkes were used on Cross Bows, I've got a 3-9 on mine. Heard recoil was comparable.

I believe scopes marked HORTEN are also made by hawke.
