Does Gary T. still sell his GAT bullets? I use his 160gr LRN bullets.

Being a "die-hard" Win 231 fan...... My load is 4.5gr.

Fed. primers are the best with Win. #2. If your revolver has not been tuned (lighter hammer throw), then you could use almost any primer. Fed. & Win. are the softest.

I don't have a clue about comp ammo but I did load some personal defense rounds for a buddy this weekend. We used 158gr Honady XTP with max charges of Unique and 2400. The 2400 seemed to be a little more accurate. They where being fired from a Smith airwieght. As you can imagine the recoil was pretty heavy for 38. I imagine it would prove to be good medicine for two-legged varmints but not great for paper punching.
