Re: Hoster Options? CA Undercover 3"
Doesn't sound like it, but there's a lot of real estate between 2 and 5 o'clock. 2 to 4 is an easier determination as to which works best as far as right and left handed. 5 and beyond almost demand a left handed holster for a right handed person, or you're trying to draw backwards. Might help to narrow that down a bit or to find an ambidextrious holster that would fit both needs.
I've seen holsters from a company named Tagua, I think?, that might fit your needs. I think Natchez may carry them for $14 or so. They are constructed like the ones Eaglestroker's building, except they have a removable belt clip on one side. They're just a V shaped leather holster that can be reversed and worn on either side, either IWB, or on a belt. I think it takes a few days for them to mold to the shape of your gun and, after they mold, they may lose their ambi capabilities, not sure about that. Eaglestroker may be able to custom build one for you and your gun, though, that might cure that problem. His holsters look very nice and well made, but I'm not sure if he has access to a belt clip or not. Wouldn't hurt to ask and he might be able to give some advice as to what would work best for your needs.
