Well whatcha got? Pics? better description? Where are you located?

Lots of variables as to "value" in a firearm. Its also only "worth" what someone is willing to pay for it, no matter how heavy or shiney it is.

PS Welcome to the site! :welcome2:

Understand the concern; especially for someone who does not sell very oftern. In order to assist, we would need a little more information regarding what you have - make, model, caliber, condition, # rounds through it, finish, original box, any add ons, etc, etc, etc, -- A couple of pictures would also help ..

Another source for some ball park estimates is Gunbroker; however, got to take into consideration shipping and FFL transfer fees and such ... give us some more info and I bet some will chime in with their opinions -- just watch out for those who say just send the guns to them!!

BTW: Welcome to MSGO!!

Go to a large book store and look at the "Blue Book of Gun Values". There are some similar titles.

Or, look at web sites like GunBroker.com and see what the others are going for.

Take them to the next gun show in your area and see what they offer you. Be aware that offers at gun shows are low---the buyer has to mark it up to make a profit.

But just know that small differences that you might overlook can make a large difference in price.

Descriptions like cowboy gun and pretty does not tell me much...

How about something like Ruger Vaquero Single action 4 5/8 inch barrel stainless in 45 Long Colt and then show a picture

+1 Get a 2010 edition of Blue Book of Gun Values...good place to start.

Guns are like jewelry...it don't matter what its "worth"...it only matters what someone is willing to pay ya for it

and don't go to your local gun shop for "estimates"...you will get screwed

Gunbroker is a good spot to see what things are selling for
