I don't have much that takes a mag, but all of my pistol mags are stacked in a drawer unless I'm going to or from shooting!miker84 said:Do you keep them in a drawer, hard case, or a range bag?. I've got my AR mags in a Pelican case (about 40 of them). My pistol mags are scattered all over the place...some in the safe, some stacked on a shelf. What say you?
Wise for your age. Keep mine out of reach of the grandkids but not me. Keep an inexpensive ($160 Maverick from Academy that I cut down and recrowned to a couple inches over legal) right by the chair and another by the bed. Lock the more expensive ones up but trust all the ones I have out with my life. Love a 38/357 and a 12, seem to go together better and the wife can use them easily.Myers said:Afterall, if we are to treat all guns like they are loaded, might as well be loaded right?

Oh, they're all loaded with a spare next to them. I still have another 20 or so extras stacked up, but they keep slipping around and falling over. I was just going to throw them in a bag, but thought you guys might have a better idea.Myers said:Afterall, if we are to treat all guns like they are loaded, might as well be loaded right?
With the trigger lock safely securing the weapon and the key in another room stored in a lock box.GunOneDown said:Mags what mags? Only got one per gun and it's locked up empty in a separate safe than the gun it belongs to.
