how many .001 is to much to size down? like .455 to .451 or .362 to .358? most everyone tries to keep it around a couple thousand but what is the max?

Never gone that far................. Maybe Captain has been there...?

I do know that bullet design (amount of bearing surface) and alloy will determine the force needed to push the bullet through.

I have taken some .315 down .311 and some .311 down to .309 in rifles .... however, all my reading tells me that .003 is about max ... after that you may start to deform the boolit, limit the lube grooves, etc ....
